Youth Leadership & Student Volunteers

BayDolphin Community Enrichment believes that young people can be powerful leaders in their communities. Our Youth Leadership pathway offers high school students the chance to support younger children and immigrant seniors through structured, supervised volunteer roles.

Student Roles

  • Student Program Coordinator (High School)

    • Helps plan and organize youth language or senior language activities

    • Assists with volunteer training and scheduling

    • Supports communication with adult supervisors and staff

  • Peer Tutor / Youth Volunteer

    • Supports children in reading and homework under adult supervision

    • Helps lead games, reading circles, and simple language activities

Supervision

All youth volunteers and student coordinators work under the supervision of an Adult Program Director or site supervisor. Youth leadership roles do not involve financial decisions or unsupervised responsibility for participants.
